Terms and conditions

RESERVATIONS

Reservations are prepaid and confirmed with a minimum amount agreed with the reservations department.The same reservations department will inform you about our current methods of payment. Novos Travel Perú will confirm your reservation by sending an e-Voucher, which mentioned all booking details including: general data,the reservation code, method of payment, balance due and the respective program. This way you will secure your booking, unless it is canceled for reasons set out in the section under the name of responsibilities which are totally unrelated to the company.

The total payment of the reservation must be paid 100% before the start of the same. Passengers must carry the Service Voucher and present to our operations staff. Reservations are not transferable.

ITINERARY

The itineraries are planned with great care, although, for operational reasons Novos Travel Peru can make changes to the order of the excursions due to weather conditions, river levels, time of arrival or departure or  by any other relevant reason, to ensure the best development of the trip in coordination with passengers. In general the itinerary should be treated only as a basic guide.

RESPONSABILITY

Novos Travel Perú, acts for and on behalf of our customers, organizing on your name the transport, accommodation or other tourist services, so we do not take responsibility for accidents that threaten the physical integrity, loss, delays or interferences with the tour for reasons of force majeure or other acts that do not involve our responsibility, especially regarding programs and schedules.

Novos Travel Perú, is not responsible for any illness, pregnancy or physical or mental disability, which may endanger the health or integrity of any passenger or third parties during the development of the contracted tour or that implies limitations or impediments to provide our tourist services. Therefore, Novos Travel Peru will not recognize any claim or refund for the concepts mentioned above, including cases where under normal conditions manifesting  problems. Therefore, we request  to report us before  the contracting of our services the existence of any limitation of this nature, in order to recommend specific services.

TRAIN TRANSPORT SERVICES

Prices and rates for train tickets are subject to availability and change without notice until they have been issued. Schedules, routes and timetables of these tickets are subject to change until the date of travel by the train operating company. Tickets issued in respect of the train service did not allow refunds, no allows route change and  change of date.

DOCUMENTATION

The passenger is responsible for having a valid passport or other travel documents and visas according to the nationality laws accepted by the governments of the countries you are visiting. For making the reserves need to have the following information on each passenger: Full name, passport number, nationality, age, sex. Please notify, allergies, illnesses, conditions of passengers,  passenger characteristics, food preferences, etc.

PRICE AND RATES

All prices and fees are in US dollars and are subject to change without notice, until payment has been made and proper confirmation of availability. The rate in US dollars will be converted to nuevos soles at the current exchange rate on the date of the transaction if necessary.

OBLIGATIONS

If a service can not be provided by an error, failure or fault attributable directly to the operator of the service, it will try to do their best to provide a solution of equal value to the service not provided. If you can not provide equivalent service not provided shall be refunded to the actual price of the service excluding any consequential, indirect costs or any other costs associated with not performing this service. Any complaint about a service not provided during the trip will only be accepted if this is done in writing within 7 days after completion of the trip. With regard to cancellations, returns and refunds of money these shall be governed by the terms and conditions set forth in the Policies Cancellation, Return & Refund.

CANCELLATION POLICY RETURNS & REFUNDS

Individual passengers and passengers in groups

The request for trip cancellation and a refund for any reason and at any time, be the result of the total payment agreed minus expenses already done, such as entrance of tourist sites, train tickets, accommodation, bus tickets and other services involving a prompt acquisition. These expenses can reach 100% of the total value of the contract.
If you request cancellation of trek of Inca Trail and Machu Picchu tours, you are not entitled to reimbursement for the nature of those services.

Some services may be interrupted or canceled due to climate conditions, reasons of force majeure, riots, etc., or others beyond the control of the hotels, airlines, suppliers or the agency. No return or refund will be made as a result of such interruptions or cancellations beyond our control.

  • NO SHOW,  If not presented the passenger will lose 100% of the cost of the package.

EXCEPTIONS

No refund will be granted  only in case of cancellation of the  Inca Trail service ,given the characteristics of this service.
No refund will be granted for the cancellation of package tours include train service to Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley and Puno, given the characteristics of this service.

Note: Certain suppliers have more stringent cancellation policies regarding groups. Therefore, in group bookings exceeding 10 passengers, suppliers reserve the right to impose a penalty of 35% up to 90 days before the travel date, and 100% penalty for cancellation up to 45 days before reserved date of travel.

During the high season, our company reserves the right to change the cancellation policies, if our suppliers should apply further penalties apart from those listed above.
